AQCI Announces New Reorganization; Company Expands to Two Operating Divisions

SALMON ARM, BC--(MARKET WIRE)--Apr 18, 2007 -- Aquatic Cellulose International Corp. (Other OTC:AQCI.PK - News), an energy development and production company, has restructured its internal organization to better reflect the company's current business strategy.

The reorganization includes expansion from one to two operating divisions. In addition, it includes a plan to scale-up operations in both divisions and presents a clearer picture of exactly what AQCI is and does for its customers, shareholders and the community at large.

ENERGY DIVISION

The Energy Division currently holds interests in oil and gas leases in Texas.

The division will focus on immediate drilling opportunities at existing leaseholds, and acquiring new properties with proven reserves. In addition, this division will independently evaluate other properties and invest capital where it sees an opportunity to achieve a superior return for shareholders.

"We have been evaluating a number of properties and are planning several acquisitions," states Sheridan Westgarde, president of AQCI. "Our plan involves expanding our presence in the United States and creating a Canadian presence by acquiring interests in Alberta and Saskatchewan."

TECHNOLOGY DIVISION

The Technology Division develops and acquires proprietary technology for energy and other applications.

The division will focus on the development, testing and marketing of AQCI's next-generation Tiger-Lynk manipulator technology. The company has several finished components to the new AR-120 machine and is planning a market debut in 2007.

"Our goal is to brand Tiger-Lynk as the world's leading industrial marine manipulator," states Mr. Westgarde. "At 120 feet in length, our arm will certainly be among the largest ever produced.

"Tiger-Lynk will not only synergize the energy business by allowing us to market advanced equipment to construction companies looking for a better way to build and repair offshore oil and gas platforms, but will also allow us to penetrate other marine industries like civil engineering, timber, dredging as well as disaster rescue and recovery, where our machines have significant safety and performance advantages over divers, remote operated vehicles (ROV) and other equipment."

In conjunction with the reorganization, AQCI is evaluating a number of potential candidates for appointments to the board of directors. These individuals will play active roles in managing the energy and technology divisions.
